The Autis AWP Audit Agent is a native Microsoft Teams solution developed by Autis Analytics to automate engineering schedule audits under AWP criteria.
The Challenge
Manual auditing of XER schedules against AWP criteria is a time-consuming and error-prone process: analysts must inspect hundreds of activities, cross-reference data across multiple fields, and document inconsistencies in separate spreadsheets. Lack of standardization leads to inconsistent assessments across projects and auditors, and generating technical evidence for validation consumes hours of specialized work that could be redirected toward resolving the identified gaps.
The Solution
The agent integrates natively with Microsoft Teams via Copilot Studio. The user attaches the XER file directly in the chat — the agent processes the schedule with Azure OpenAI Service and Power Automate, runs AWP quality and maturity checks, calculates the project score by criterion, and automatically generates two files: a PDF report with the consolidated analysis and recommendations, and an Excel calculation sheet with the breakdown of each check. The entire process happens without leaving the Teams environment.
